When scrapping I have talked about carrying guns for varmints and forgot to mention rattlesnakes. Thankfully I do not have to worry about copperheads and water moccasins. At least rattlesnakes try to give you a warning.
I do not know how accurate this old saying about snakes in North America: Oval head okay, diamond head dangerous. Maybe someone can enlighten everyone.
That's pretty neat! None of those this far north. I'm guessing it's common enough to find those in random scrap piles?
