Quick scrap : Electric governor for stationary generator - Copper and Aluminum

Morning all.

I've had a couple of these electric engine governors kicking around from various removal jobs. I've grabbed a few from the COE scrap bins as well (they don't keep those in their mixed bin, right to the white metal bin). These are one of my favorite quick scraps : no cutting involved and the coil just needs a quick strip of the resin isolator and we have a good chunk of copper.

These coils average from 3 - 5 lbs of copper, and usually takes me around 6-8 minutes to get the coils out and in the copper pile.

Next up, I'm thinking...I'll take apart a large engine A/C compressor.
