I Have Returned! 4 years later i think a re-introduction is a must!!

I have completely fallen off the face of the scrap business a few years ago. I had a partner that i was working with and he had everything from down to the contracts of properties under his name to all of the customers that he had and also contracts he had they only knew about him and delt' with him himself. The twist is that I had done all the work to keep the company running and kept everything on time and managed most of it on my own besides the customers and also the paper work.
I was bitter about it for a while because i made all that he took away from me in .5 of a second compared to the 2 years that i put into the company and into myself. A few years down the road I'm back and i want to start something of my own. I am a mother of one little boy and I want to teach him my ways and show him that he can take any road he wants.
As I'm already in classes for human services, I'm a Jack of all sorts of trades and also some other things up my sleeve and I will rise up to the top again. The first few things i got to get taken care of is getting my truck on the road!
The reason I came back to this page is because i remembered all the help and the tips that are on here and all of the helpful people that i would talk to! I NEED to come back to this and give myself something to do. As I'm a stay at home mom right now... and many people doubt me now because I haven't been much into the active lifestyle that i had a few years ago... All because i needed to lick my wounds and let them heal from the s*** show that I had a few years ago it really made me doubt myself and so on.
P.S. I was 18-19 then now I'm 22. I know i was so young but it seems so long ago since then!
Thank you for reading most of y'all may not even remember me but i want to just say Hello from Maine and
i'm still living the life the way it should be! My way!! lol
P.s.s. I'm looking for friends that will support me even if its on here I'm feeling like I'm going into a whole new world by myself when i usually have someone to go back and talk to or ask questions. So now you guys are my new support system!

Welcome back ! You were gone but not forgotten.

I've got to mind my words, but totally get what you were saying about before. Maybe not the best situation ya know ? You just have to live and learn .... then move on. Don't kick yourself. You couldn't have done things any differently.

Anyway ... big hello from the coast not too far from Bah Habbah.

Not the best situation and it does not help that they used me being so young to a disadvantage. He now has changed the company name and ect. and now runs off of what i built for himself. I should of stood up and done the work myself but i thought i was getting help. It is what it is, all i know is that I can be something of a value if someone wants to do me dirty like that! So i can do this again and get back up on my feet one more time and get this lady scrapper back on the map! Thank you, I'm up in the boonies and havent been that way in a good minute! Will have'ta take a trip to just go and see the ocean where i used to live.

Focus on the now ? You've got a whole new life ahead of you. You're a mommy now. Embrace that and move forward !

The past is the past ... good or bad ... there's no way to change it. Just make it a part of your story without feeling one way or another about it. That's how you find peace and move on.

If this is going to turn into a child support discussion I will put in my two cents worth.........I'm all for a man owning up to what he has created but certain circumstances put men in a position they cannot crawl out of........For several years I was being charged $500 a month in support and was making $7 per month.......Couldn't do anything about it and ended up over $45,000 in debt.......I am current now and worked out a payment plan but this could have been my demise.......I figure I will pay on this until I hit the grave and hopefully by then my penance will have been served

Welcome back to the forum from a stay at home dad turned scrapper because it was something I could do while taking care of my lil one. 2 years later(4 yrs old) she just started school and im still scrapping! :)
