I mentioned in another thread I had picked up a nice Kenmore glass top convection stove. The boards were fried, but the top works and the burner knobs work. Anyone know if it is worth the trouble to harvest the knobs and top and try to sell on ebay? Any idea how long I would have to hold on and advertise or would it just be better to push it off the trailer at the yard?
I've never sold knobs, but I did sell an oven light fixture and a pair of racks. Took awhile on both, but I have ample storage. I think I sold the light for like 20-25 so netted maybe 10 after costs... racks I want to say I got 30 for, so maybe 13-14 net.
Know the oven model # for search engine hits.
You need patience, but you can make MTS on some things.
When I said knobs, I actually meant the controller the knob turns. looks like pushing it off the trailer might be the best move.Quote:

With the scrap prices down so much it would definitely be worth trying to sell as much as possible for reuse.
Fried. There was black soot on both boards. I had wiped them with my thumb, but you can still se where they made contact. The smoked spots are pretty much center of both pictures....Quote:
