Can I sell wire still on the spool?

I have the opportunity to buy a large amount of copper wire still on the spool, for very cheap at a local auction house.

Would the average scrap yard be OK with buying the wire still on the spools? Because of the logistics of everything, it would be very tricky to get the wire off the spools prior to the sale. I live in a small apartment, and so I don't have a space where I could properly process everything.

What kind of copper wire is it? How many feet and number of spools?
Scrap yards might buy it on the spool but you may not get much for it.

Should be worth more to sell as it's intended purpose.

Probably not going to sell as cheap at auction as you think...you might be surprised at hammer time.
