Good day today!
Went to my hometown dump, pulled out 25lbs of copper, 15lbs brass, one big ole converter, and 50lbs aluminum.
Then I talked to the local garbage man, I get along with him great, he told me there was a big pile out at the dump from a house that got torn down, so I got another 55lbs of copper and 10lbs of brass!!!!
So today was excellent! The two tires I had to buy for my scrap halfton are now paid off and then some. Plus most importantly......the wife is happy......and if the wife is happy.......everybody is happy hahaha!

your lucky Militia...my dump would call the police if I did that

ahh for the good old days, try that down here these days and you would be under the jail, for steeling trash just goes to show you how upside our country has gotten. I was born and raised in a small town 622 population, my dad was the town marshall I remember the town would go find a farmer who needed a dgulley filled and that is where the next town dump would be, I have often fantisized about getting a back hoe and do a dig..
good day for you good luck in the future

me too, olddude...my mother said that people used to throw all kinds of stuff in old wells when they went dry. and our old dump is not far from my house...I've had those backhoe fantasies also. My town has around 1500.

I'd like to dig up the ditch my stepfather filled - with about 25 or 30 cars including a '59 Chevy.

doesn't it drive you crazy, 3/4's of it just get burried or more!

Instead of mining the mines for more metals...we'll be mining the landfills.
I've operated a JD 310 backhoe. Wish I owned one.
