I know the standard ceramic purple DLP chips got $20-30/lb, but this one I have not seen before. Any suggestions or classifications welcome.

Contact your buyer and ask for their price. If you believe it to be a good working chip check out sold prices on ebay for possible sale.
I've gotten a few but I'm sure if you have a bunch you can get a better price. 73, Mike
boardsort.com is paying $5/lb for the green fiber DLP's. I'm sure that price is very low. You could definitely get significantly more from various buyers on SMF.
Its got a thick metal sandwich plate attached to it. I sent a email to mario.

If these were working, they would fetch $100-250ea! Ebay has sold a ton of them. Unfortunatly, mine have the white spots of death. :(
The technology in these chips with the thousands of tiny mirrors inside of them is really pretty amazing. One reason I enjoy scrapping is the technology involved in the items we all work on.
A very informative video. Thank you, Mike
Definitely something to look out for from now on. Thanks.
