Is this gold plated connector

Hey scrappers,
Can anybody tell me if this connector is gold plated? Or how to check if a gold looking connector is actually gold plated.

Generally if it carries data to and from a computer and it looks like its gold it is likely gold(plated). If it carriers power generally it is not gold(plated) and it will not look gold.

All of us have a bucket/drawer/box we put the stuff we're not certain of. Later as we gain knowledge we can go through our bucket of unknowns and know what is in it. 73, Mike
