Just another lawyer

Have a buddy married to one of the native woman, her sister passed away several years ago her estate in the hands of a local lawyer. She owned a house in one of the small towns nearby as most of us her bank account was slim pickings for the lawyer an he was constantly leaning on the family for money to process the estate.

Two years later the estate has gone with out probate, the family has assigned one of its elders to handle the estate, Ans here's what he found, the sister worked as a registered nurse for 25 years and paid into a life insurance policy.

Like I said just another lawyer, had he actually looked at the deceased s assets would have discovered the estate was sizable with liquid assets. Just had to cash in that life insurance policy.

Instead he just looked at the deceased as just another dead Indian.
