Hi all! I apologize because I'm sure this is somewhere in the forum but I can't seem to find it. Picked up a 65lb roll of copper tubing today that has some very light oxidation (as seen in the picture). In your experience is this enough to knock it from no.1 to no.2 and, if so, can I fix it? By that I mean can I sand it down slightly? Would that be removing the flaw or just hiding it, by that I mean am I actually fixing it if I do that or just being unethical and scamming? I'm not knowledgeable about the actual chemistry. My (mis?)understanding is that oxidation takes place over time, level by level. So skimming off the spots should be actually removing the oxidation which, in this case, means about a $20 difference for something I should be able to knock out pretty quick. Many thanks in advance!
