Call the scrap yards in your area.
Be aware that yards may try to rip you off on the price of real tin ....
Before selling as scrap, you may want to find a person or place that restores steam traction or locomotive engines. If you talk to the right person, you may end up with more than scrap value.

Rockaway Recycling in Rockaway NJ has it on thier price list under rare metals. Price says 50 cents to $5.50 per piund. You may want to call them to get further information.Quote:

What your asking about $$$ is a crap shoot, if the material is pot dross etc. your material belongs in the dumpster where you found it. Consider it hazardous waste.
