Advice on grocery carts
I work at a pool construction company that has thrown out 2 old grocery carts used to haul parts around the warehouse. Both are fully made of metal. The yard I called said I could get around .08 cents a pound for them. I'm new to metal recycling and have been reading up on the best ways to disassemble and sell various items and metals for maximum profit; any advice for grocery carts?. All I am able to find online is information about carts being stolen for scrap. Thanks for reading.
Here's a link to the yard I called: http://www.americanrecyclinginc.com/pricing.htm

Welcome to the Forum, Scrapfish. On those carts - Do you have something to smash them with? Like- I'd run over them with my tractor and bring the forks down on them to smash them as flat as possible. Otherwise, cut the legs off and load them with other little stuff.

Also take any store labels off. My yard wont accept them if they have anything associated with a store still attached.

Take a pair of bolt cutters to them
