You have to call around to different shops / yards in your area. A car battery can sell for $2 - $5 in my area, but this price can be different were you are at.Quote:

Gosh.. prices have tanked where you are. When I used to recycle cars I was getting between $12 and $14 per battery!Quote:

They pay by the pound here. 20 to 25 cents a pound is average for here and that's for the last 4 or 5 years.
Regardless of varying prices Batteries are an easy sell with good pay for size
Oh.. those were the days. I used to get between .38 and .42/lb
