Hello from Argentina.
Hello I'm from Argentina, I work at Scrap company. I would like to put photos of my work and consult on machines and processes, greetings to all. Sorry for my English...
I would like to create a thread and I can not, I do not understand why, I raise my doubt here,
I know it is not the right place ....
I'm going to build a Copper wire stripper
My idea was to build a similar one to the GENSCO CSX-001. I'm going to use a 2HP engine (1450 rpm).
I have 2 doubts: What reduction does it take? 20/1? What size is the "V" traction roller?
I hope someone knows how to solve these doubts. I promise to put photos of the entire construction process and videos of the machine working. Thank you very much.

Welcome to the forum. I look forward to your contributions to the forum. It takes about 10 entries on the forum until you are allowed post photos.
My only advise on the wire stripping machine is be certain it makes sense to use one. What I mean is will the additional effort pay off enough to justify it. Personally I found I would make more money either acquiring more wire or other scrap that I would by stripping insulated wire.

Hi Miked, at work we have 5000 KG of cables, today for example we have bought 800 KG of copper. We need a machine. It is not possible to buy it by time of importation, customs etc. Have any users built or have any similar ones? I just need some information, I will build the machine and I will put photos of the process, Thank you
