Hello from Oregon
Hi everybody, I'm Dave and am mostly new to escrapping. I live in Roseburg Oregon and until recently we had a couple escrappers here but they split. I have a retail shipping store which allows me to take on the task. Still getting my feet wet but have the processes down pretty good. I like the idea of the equipment not ending up at the landfill without some scrapper intervention:-)
My next task is to find somebody to sell the pieces and parts too. I'll start a thread in a moment with that question. Being a shipping store, I know shipping east of the Mississippi is a deal breaker.

Welcome. You may want to peruse the Buyer/Seller section. Check the buyers to see which ones are active here and you can also read their reviews.

Welcome to SMF from the Buffalo Commons. Hope you enjoy the little community and Hipo Gear gave you some great advice.

Shipping east of the Mississippi is not a deal breaker for two reasons, we have member buyers located west of the Mississippi and shipping pallet loads significatly reduces shipping costs to even buyer east of the Mississippi.
So your assignment is to read lots more of the forum and keep building up your pile of ewaste. 73 and welcome to the forum. Mike

Hey Welcome
Read read read
How much scrap are you talking about? If it's pallet size you might want to check with Govern to get you past The Mississippi.
Lots of good info.
