Hey Guys
I am thinking about making this Wire Stripping machine but much smaller so I can fit it on my work bench. Anyway let me know what you think. I have been looking for a wire stripper that would be universal for most wire. I want to be able to through more than just a hand full too. Anyway here it is.

It's not going to be universal. This type of machine design only works with solid wire. I think I 'm in the market for a good wire stripper too. The prices for most of them are hard to justify though. Funny thing is, I probably have most of the parts on hand to build one of these.
I had a wire stripper which used a rotating blade and a hand drill to run it. It worked well but my business went a different more profitable(for me)direction.
In the video he is stripping solid copper wire rather than stranded. Using that machine with stranded wire would be a challenge. In my case I rarely got more than a few feet of wire which will change how productive and SAFE it is to use.

I recall someone using the cutting wheel from a pipe/tubing cutter to strip stranded wire. Don't remember how he set it up though. A good reason for the OP to search through the old threads and try to find it.
Edit: HipoGear posted after I started posting the above but before I finished. (I'm slow sometimes.) I just want to comment on the title of the video. Stranded wire from a power cord would be #2 copper, not bare bright no matter how bright and shiny it is.
On some wire I found that running it through a second time, not on the same line, makes them come apart very easy. Mike

This one looks the easiest to make. Plus I'm primarily stripping wire from computers so I think this one would be perfect.
