Oh well. Nothing in the Phoenix area. I always pick up coins. Especially outside convenience stores. Guess it's the scrounge in me. We have banks at home for the grand kids. I find a couple bucks worth of change in nearly every drier I scrap. There has to be at least a hundred in change in each of their three banks so far. One coin I ran across on the ground recently was glued or stuck to the concrete. I could not move it so I hung around and watched a while. I lost count after at least 20 other people tried unsuccessfully to grab the coin. More women tried than men. Some tried breaking it loose with their foot.Quote:

last week took my daughter to a college to visit. I get out of the car and walk across campus, get to the curb and kick through a pile of leaves. see a little silk piece of fabric. I just kick it but it felt heavy. picked it up and it had a zipper. pulled out a very worn looking bill in the photo. I assume it was a pocket that tore out of a jacket or something. no telling how many people stepped on it over the past weeks and months but didn't bother....I love finding money!!
