CRT, and TV processing needs to improve. Outlets to get rid of these free are almost done. They are not going away either. Most likely the ones that have been "free" to recycle, have yet to be be touched. Sitting in a warehouse somewhere. They will need to be dealt with at some point. Very bad situation
I have said and will say again, if someone tells you they have a "cheap" solution for CRT's, you better keep looking! They are not doing it the right way!Quote:

And the one place I found that takes the tubes at 10 cents per pound, grinds them down, treats them so the lead doesn't leach, and "places them in a storage cell until cost effective methods of recycling are developed". In other words were just gonna store them out of sight for now, but grind them up so they take up less space. Lol.
I knew it was going to happen sooner or later - only took a year.
