Intel Confidential CPU's
Got a couple of these that look like your standard pinless processors. Sadly it is not a Xeon type like the 18 core that sell for $3,000 on eBay. Still might be worth $20-$40. Anyone else run across these things? Cant imagine how many I must have throw in the scrap bin over the last couple years...

Intel Confidential CPU's
If they say "confidential" they are probably engineering samples and could be worth quite a lot to a collector.

if they re the pinless dual cores they dont sell very well on ebay. I have tryed to sell some in the past with no luck. Not saying they wont sell just saying I havnt had any luck.

did a bit of research on these for ya...looks like they generally are early test yield chips that passed and were put into production.

Note, from what I have read SOME of the earlier ones came unlocked for those that like to overclock (back when that even meant something...not really something you do today LOL). Some also had some flaws like power consumption (too much) etc that were fixed before production. You probably got some that passed, so they were used most likely.
Might be something a collector might want to have...especially if one of the older P4 (single cores) like I mentioned above with the unlocked multiplier.
Always cool to find interesting stuff like that.
