Found some gold on the PCB from a projector I took apart. Also, that sure looks and feels a lot like a CPU. Any idea how I would sell/classify that?

I have no idea what type of projector this was. I only received the guts from it. Thought this was an interesting surprise though.
Yes, that is a DLP chip. I don't know exactly, but I think those run around $30/lb.

thanks etack I was wondering why parts and such are going so high for these in late because some just skyrocketed that usually do lower
Does that even make sense now that you can buy a 3D printer for less than $500?
I have another DLP projector that I hoped was working as it was still in original box. I just tested it and it is overheating. I read that cleaning the filters might fix that but this one has nothing resembling a filter. The lamp was working, so I just threw it up on eBay and I'll scrap the rest. One more DLP chip and high grade board. And I think I have another in my pile of stuff to break down. I'm hoping if it's not working that it is DLP too.
