mother inlaw laughed at me.

My city advertised for free home waste recycle day mostly electronics listed. An invited me to volunteer. Well they cancelled due to bad weather n will reschedual. I said im going anyway cause some peeps probably didnt get message of cancelled. So mom inlaw laughed cause i said im going anyway.
Its not raining and people are dropping stuff off and im only one here to collect lol. Plus local radio station just aired free advertisement for me cause im here.:)

If you never try, you will never fail. The worst that could happen was that you sat in your car away from a person who treats you with disdain. Sounds to me like a win/win on your part. I bet you got a bunch of stuff for free.

Smart move & you still have a new day coming.
One day show your mother in law a paid receipt from a scrap yard run.
As scrappers we know some times $40 more often $80
& well above $125 when were motivated . She'll stop laughing .

That's 8 more people's junk than you had before, hope you had your "business cards" to hand out to everyone while you were there. Best advertising is when they come to you. I used to do next best by stopping at yard sales and handing out cards.

yes mec. i sure did and a couple said they had more stuff to dig out and will call when ready... i have a video of what happened 2 nights ago when i was comming home , the cops was tying up an 8 foot gator.
