Buying CPUs
After spending almost two years on the forum, I'm going to test the water and try to provide a few niche categories that I am comfortable buying at any scale. I hope to expand, as long as it makes sense.
Scrap Pinless CPUs - $3.5 / pound.
I am also willing to buy scrap and non scrap pinless CPUs at higher rates. Note that to get higher prices, your batch would need to have a decent mixture of dual core or better CPUs. I have a few existing clients who do not sort out their better chips, and their batches are usually 1/3 or better usable dual cores. If you're interested in something like this, PM to see if we can work out something.
Select Larger Pin CPUs - $6.5 / pound.
These include the early P4's,some Xeons, and Itaniums. This rate would only be for the types pictured below, and I realize these are not very common.
Examples:
Itanium: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...l_Itanium2.jpg
Large P4: http://www.xbitlabs.com/images/cpu/p...ium4-front.jpg
Xeon: http://cdn.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/S...%20(front).jpg
Nonscrap:
P4 @3.8 GHz - I will buy these at $1.25 each, as long as they are in working condition.
I am also buying CPU clamshells for Pentium chips. These the plastic snap case that new CPUS come in.
Socket 778/1156 - .25 each
Socket 1366 - .50 each
Shipping will be to 45891 (NW Ohio). I check my PMs here, and you can email me at total_stasis@yahoo.com as an alternate method of communication.

Congrats!!! I'll keep my eyes out for these in my e-waste travels!!
-
Pinless as in 775 chips? Brother, I trust you implicitly on this so if thats what you mean, I'll send out a package tomorrow.
-
Yes, pinless includes the socket 775 chips.
I really appreciate your show of trust. I've been a seller and worked with several established buyers here, but it's an entirely different kind of trust to establish on here as a buyer.

How is payment made? What is you average payment turn around time? Who pays shipping?

Buying CPUs
payment by PayPal or check would be preferred, but I'm open to other methods. seller pays the shipping. I can usually process boxes within 24 hours.
-
I boxed up cpus today, not really enough to justify shipping yet (didn't have as many as I thought) so I will send it as soon as it's full.
-
Sent the shipment, he received it, all is well (despite the usual post office damage and I got more in my PayPal than expected. I'll be making a regular deal of this. A+
