Very good idea I've never seen that before.
That is slick...in wonder if a sharp Draw Knife would work?
Key is leverage, KZ. Using two hands and your shoulders and legs is way easier than trying to do the ol 1 hand technique. Especially with the thick plastic this cable has on it.
I thought long and hard about how I wanted to do this, I was a little out if my eliment as I just typically can't justify spending time breaking things down. In this case; I couldnt justify figuring out a way to effic3ntly break this amount down.
In the end it will be over 300 lbs stripped, mostly cable some other smaller gauge stuff along with it.
Additionaly, I would add; the key really is sharp blades... Im such a nerd; I had to look up what a "draw knife" is. I suppose if you could get it razor sharp that would be even better. Personally i think even the cheap razors may work evn better seeing they come in huge packs for next to nothing.
This is what I meant by a Draw Knife (from generic Photobucket)...I have one around here somewhere.
