How much stuff can I break today......

Ever have a day where you think to yourself i dont need to be doing this today? Well today is one of those days! I broke 2 of my 3 sawzalls. First one my porter cable tigersaw the blade quick release knob flies off into the oblivian of my shred pile. Pull my back up out and 2 cuts into it break the blade retainer. Fml. Get the thrid one out and wife calls please move the truck from the driveway i have groceries to bring in. In the process bag rips and break 2 jars of spagetti sauce. Fml x2. And for the grand finalie help a friend with his truck and end up smashing 3 fingers in his door. now heading to er to see if i broke anything. Fml x3. Rant done for now.

I feel you! 3 f'ing days a pick n pull to get the stupid tranny out of a car. 7 vw jettas in the yard only ONE with the right combo of tranny and engine. So I had to be gentle with it. :-( I'm not in the business of being gentle....... Brought in my gas powered chop saw. They wouldn't let me bring it in the yard. It faught Cody and I every step of the way.

Yep.... Had some of those days myself.

Hah, I purchased a kolbalt kit for like $250 once and for that price you know somethings gonna go wrong.... I go out on a scrapping adventure and cutting up a chicken coop I fry the sawzall like 3rd cut in and than am using the circular saw a week later and drop it off my toolbench and snap the guard off, and break the button off. Than a bit later a battery stops working and all I have left now of all that $ is a cheap light and a drill (they have good drills) needless to say don't buy their tools, or any other tools that are cheap if your going to use them hard. I only buy dewalt now and people may call me a fool for wasting $ on it but let me tell you I've dropped my dewalt sawzall onto cement countless times and gotten it soaked with water, paint, dropped it on its tip with a blade in it, and its been to hell and back and it still runs great. Porter cable doesn't make bad heavy equiptment but when it comes to portable or smaller tools they are a bit behind.

Love dewalt good tools.

That's great news! Hope today is going better for you.

You're lucky that's all they are, and I can relate to the rest. We were given a pile of can openers my wifes aunt got from the thrift store. Started to open a can with one of em and the entire thing flew apart like an explosion. Got out the second one and the blade broke off, third one worked though.
