How to breakdown 3/4 hp airless sprayer
Here is a paint gun ready for scrapping.Wagner 3/4 hp piston motor with all the accessories.:)

Step 1 remove hoses and handle. I would be done scrapping here usually, 20 lb motor and a lb of light steel and 2 minutes of work.

WARNING
Continuing the breakdown you will need to drain the oil. I like to remove all but one screw from the head, the last screw gets backed out half way then place the unit over your drain bucket/pan and tap the cover to break the seal. Leaving the last screw in keeps you from digging the cover out of the oil bucket.

While your waiting for it to drain pull off the pump head and gasket underneath.

Now its time to get into this baby. fan cover and fan come off. cover was 2 screws and I hammer the fan off instead of prying. Watch those flying bits.
This exposes the four long bolts that hold the cap to the unit.

Now tap off the cover to expose the motor and wiring remove wiring and associated pieces as they tend to get in the way sliding the core out.
