What regulations may be involved with exporting?

Depends on your country. You would have to research what the export requirements of your country is.

I attended an export class from the SBA a couple of years ago. I don't know anything about Malaysia, but I can tell you that there are huge differences depending on where you're sending the item, and what's being sent.

For example, on clothing, some countries require them to be sprayed for lice, while others don't. For hazardous items (CRTs, Medical Wastes,...), there are tons of requirements. For those types of items, I'd talk to someone who does it as a business in your country.
