Take Care of Yours and Yourself

As I have had a cold and the flue for the last week. Here in Southern Cal. we are experiencing a wet December. Tonight the forecast is for snowfall down as low as 2,000 foot in the Los Angeles Metro area (rare). The news is showing a map covering most of the nation with "bitter" cold weather. Been working scrap out in my unheated shop, thermometers indicate my outdoor temperature is 44.6 degrees, the shop temp. is 60.1 and living room with a nice warm fireplace at 78.4 (where I'm at now).

I know how hard we all work at our own individual and necessary scraping endeavors. I have read and seen some of the pictures posted about how much harsher and extreme weather most of you encounter. Just want to say don't over due it and expose yourselves to this cold weather as we say goodbye 2014 . Take care of yours and most important yourselves, wish everyone a prosperous and healthy 2015.

Thanks Burt and yeah, especially for us in the North East there's a modified h1n1 flu going around(the wife and I have it - her sneezing, me coughing). Sometimes it's worth it to let one or two pickups go to get yourself better because no amount of scrap is worth our health.

78.4 (where I'm at now) :( You need to crack a window open and let some nice fresh cool air in. LOL
It's 9 degrees with a wind chill factor of -6 right now in Milwaukee. Just a little brisk :)

Stoked the fireplace with some good seasoned red oak, burns hot, but slow!

We got about 5" of snow Christmas Day and a few more after...-6F right now. Been using the holidays as an excuse but come next week it's back to the grind.

-7F right here in Madison. Getting ready for the day, but then I have the PPE for cold weather ;)

We didn't get any snow for Christmas then got an inch from that snow storm that was moving around up here.

Snow covered palm trees and "Boogie Boards" for sledding down a snow covered hillside? Very rare in Southern California, but that was today, on a crystal clear, blue sky and last day of 2014. Tomorrow this will all be history! I like snow up on the mountain tops, it's much more scenic for me. In memory of a man that kept me laughing Nano, Nano to all!
