Progression of a Garden

We have this space along the driveway that we can see from the kitchen and dining room that people can see as they drive by as well. We cleared it of Junipers for a garden not realizing how useful it would be at other times of the year.

After clearing, first came the garden...

Today we took a couple of pallets and some scrap and made a home for our guests of honor for Christmas...

Nice little spot there and comes with a wide open shot at the deer in the neighbors yard all year round ;)
Really like the halloween decorations and the manger looks really nice!!
soil might have gone a little acidic from the junipers sitting there for a long time, some lawn lime should help balance the soil.
