Got a 2 fer today

I hauled a 5th wheel trailer for a customer today across town to his new house.

After I got the 5th wheel set up (after mud bogging to park it behind his house), he noticed I had scrap metal pickup signs on my truck.

He says " I have a big pile of metal from a demolished building and some old woodstoves to boot-are you interested"?

Of course I said yes! Lol.

I'm delivering a roll off bin there on Wed.-he has a big excavator right next to the pile so the bin probably won't even come off the rail truck.

Easy in-easy out, gotta love those!

Make sure you have signs on your scrap pickup vehicles!

I have gotten a lot of scrap that way.

Wow nice, is there any sorting to be done or is it all steel

I just kept the woodstoves separate-the rest was regular steel.

I'm gonna send the customer a few pizzas for giving me that load.
