Browser issues?
Is any one else having this problem? When viewing posts I have scroll tabs on the bottom and the right side. I'm using Win 7 64 bit and IE 10 and I have to scroll down to read each post. Mozilla Firefox works fine so I assume it's my IE browser. This started about a week ago.
As soon as I submitted this I thought Compatibility View. Yup, that fixed it.

Another learning curve for this greenhorn. Do not know what scroll tabs are or anything about compatibility view. If I am scrolling for compatibility, is this the right web site?
Glad you found your answer, even if I do not understand the problem.

You know, after working on phone systems and loading applications on computers all day there are not to many things more satisfying than going home and scrapping them.

Take the side off the computer. Cut all wires and deposit wires in the ICW (Insulated Copper Wire). Remove power supply and place in steel shred pile. Remove heatsink from processor and place into cast aluminum pile (could be copper if you are really lucky). Pull green board and put in pile with other green boards. Throw empty box into steel shred. Or...
Turn the computer off and then turn it back on again.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer has a long history of not working very well. I was always a pc guy going back to win 3xx so it was hard to change but IE 8 was so bad i finally switched over to Firefox. Firefox is kind of laid back and easygoing. Internet Explorer doesn't play well with others so it gets fussy if a website doesn't exactly conform to Microsoft standards.
It's almost better to disable it. That way it's not eating up system resources. You can do it in win XP & 7 through add/remove programs ---> windows features. If you're running Vista that option isn't available.

I dislike Google and everything they stand for but I use their browser (chrome) when I'm on the pc. I haven't used IE since dial up Internet was all the rage.

I didn't use IE when dial up was in. I used Netscape back then, and today I use Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. You couldn't pay me to use IE.
As for the computer, you just have to show it who's boss!
