Newish guy on the block!

Hello everyone,

I am a new member to this forum, but have been coming to this site for info for a while. I currently live in the Salt Lake City, UT area. Steel runs in my veins as my dad is where I have leaned everything I know from watching and helping him, so I am not a complete newbie to metal recycling/scrapping. Now that I own my own home instead of living in an apartment I have the room to be much more serious about it.

I work in the IT industry and have been fortunate enough to acquire a lot of free electronic scrap, but like I said before did not used to have the room for it. I have regretted may times I have had to pass up or throw away items that I could have scrapped one I had more to make the drive to the scrapyard profitable.

Now I hope to be able to use this forum as a tool for success.
