I use Dropbox personally, but I thought maybe we could use it together as the more people who use an account, the more storage they will give you. My idea would be to create an account and share a folder that we all could add pictures or files to. I am not sure if there would be any danger of if we could get into any trouble, but it would be a spot we could use to post picturesfor the board instead of using server space on my website server.
Anyone interested?
That's an interesting idea and doesn't have to be limited to images. I can assure anyone that dropbox is safe as it requires a username and password to gain access to anything. I played around with it to transfer files back and forth between my pc and the wifes.
dropbox rocks...I have used it for several years. When I helped with sales at a artists for hire company, we used it exclusively for our artists and clients stuff...quick and easy and you have access to stuff instantly.
There is also another place that is really cool if you need to send people large files... ge.tt The cool thing about it is that it works kinda like peer to peer in that you can start downloading almost immediately after you start an upload...so say you are uploading a bunch of files or a large zip, then people can start the download within seconds of the upload starting.
Anyways, dropbox is a cool thing and people should definitely use it to transfer pics and files back and forth.
