My 4-year-old can remove the board from a hard drive all by himself. My 2-year-old can hand me the right tool (usually!). And all the kids are learning to identify metals.
But why did my 2-year-old put my bobby pins into my shred bucket?

Make sure you keep their hands washed quite well as there is lead in that solder on the back of the boards. No sense in getting lead in their system at such an early age. They'll run into all kinds of crap later in life.
They put the bobby pins in the shred bucket cause they are metal.

Starting him young!
