If you have the glass from CRT computer monitors or televisions, there is a recycler in NY that will take it.
It's not free, but from what I heard it is one of the cheapest options to get rid leaded glass .
Now all I need is to find someone who takes unmarked plastic.
I reside in MD and gave these guys a call in the past and from the phone conversation I was impressed.
There is the issue of distance for me but I was told by a rep that they have accounts along the east coast that ships freight to them.
Depending on who accepts CRTs locally near others on here it may be worth a try to give some one a call to put a few on a truck instead of tossing it in the land fill.
In talking with the manager at the transfer station, this is where my crt's are "eventually" ending up. Another worker was saying the get ground up in south NH then shipped out to NY???
