converter identification help

I usually do pretty good at identifying my converters but I have no clue about this one. I got this one off of a late 80's VW, it even has my cat guy stumped as to factory or a/m

the way the tubing is formed and bent makes me think it's an factory cat

Sell your cats direct, 14 of 17. That is a OEM.

factory 'vw cat should bring all foreign or large. any? feel free to hit me up I have over 8-15k memorized
