My name is Jon and I live and work in Birmingham, Alabama. I am a second generation scrap man so I've been doing this all my life. I loaded my first truck of scrap when I was about 10 years old! He was way overweight, grossing about 110,000 lbs. Anyway, I've been doing this full time for almost 10 years now and am currently running our family business here in Birmingham. Yes. We are a scrap metal brokerage and consulting firm. I sell directly to steel mills and consumers all over the southeast. I'm trying not to talk too much about my business because there is fine line between talking about your business and advertising here. Just trying to be a good forum dweller.Quote:
