Need some input
Went to a customer for my day job. It's a computer place. He's giving my a tour and we come around a corner to see 3 tower shells and 2 power supplies. I asked what he does with them. He said he saved them up and takes them to our local yard, he said the last time I room them I got $16. Didn't say how often he went. And I know he doesn't fix alot of computers because that isn't his bread & butter. My question is this...do I offer money for the scrap and all future scrap? Or do I just let it go? He doesn't break anything down. I want those power supplies bad!!! LOL

If he is not breaking them down , I'm sure he is getting about .20 a pound for copper breakage on power supply's .he might get a little more maybe .30 # if you ask I'm sure he would sell to you for the same price being your eliminating his trip and freeing up his time to be at his place of business . Give it a shot worst he can say is no thanks .

Offer to buy them from him. If he thinks getting an extra $20 is nice, ask him to let you know when you have about 10 peices or they are taking up to omuch room and youll swing by and pick it up and give him 30-40 bucks or more depending on what you can make.
