Hello All , My buddy calls and says his neighbor is tossing hot water tank and some sort of furnace Oh boy, i race over and see some large cast iron pipes there too, with plastic bags on the end. Nice and heavy Now i use a jeep for scrapping and by the time i got the 3 big pipes in , one started spilling;( Almost blew chunks on the way to scrapyard but got 31 bucks for them 2nd trip include hot water tank and other stuff Not so smelly

OK sure, been curb scrapping for a couple years now, luckily a washer will fit in the jeep cherokee. Ive had my teenage sons help me load and unload. the older boy loves taking the trip to the scrapyard and seeing the piles and piles of stuff.. and yes Ive scrapped some questionable items Parts of weight set that werent really ferrous oops sorry i wont do it again I cruize CL and hope i get lucky Right now scrappings a PT job as i do hace the 9-5 gig I dream about the big copper " find " but in the meantime i just strip Romex wires and gaze at the shiny bright copper in the sunshine Happy Scrappin to all

hanks again all, I feel wlcome here I must say Ive seen fewer things of the ferrous variety on my streets lotso scrappers and that sort of thing
