Stainless steel is up around .60 by me and due to my personal distaste for removing the pieces of steel on bottom - - times 4
I have ended up with a decent stock pile .
I want a FAST way to remove , I figure an electric drill hammer chisel of some sort . Other wise it's the reciprocating saw.
I have the same distaste for cleaning these and choose to just sell them for .25 as dirty stainless
I just came across a commercial size stainless steel sink that is 10 ft long by 4 ft wide. It has three spouts, one drain and is detachable from a steel bench. The sink sits close to a building that is being gutted and a 40 yard dumpster is full on the other side of the parking lot. Not sure if they are saving it for someone or waiting to throw it out.
Not exactly what you asked, but if they are in good shape I'm able to sell those on Craigslist for $20-$25 with no trouble...
Best way to get the steel off I found is a hammer and use a hatchet like a chisel. Pound down going long ways. Should work, but pretty loud.
Reselling if I can deliver if they come to me metal thieves will follow
i use a sawzal and trim close to the iron at an angle. it goes fast enough just use gloves since the pieces will become sharp quick. you can use a pliers then to pull the iron off the stainless.
When I did sinks I found that a plasma torch was the catz azz. Could trim the drain out and the mild steel tabs around the outside in just a few minutes.

Prices of replacement parts vary greatly. consumables and spare parts are almost as important as the quality of the machine. scrapping can be rough on equipment.Quote:
