Microwave Transmitters...Not Ovens
So I am going 40 Miles out of my way to pick up 2 Microwave Transmitters tomorrow. They are from a 300' tower site. I was supposed to pick them up yesterday, but my hernia alarm went off. Should of snapped a pic, but didn't. So I have help tomorrow, and am picking them up so this will be 80 miles at 9 mpg, at $3.93/gallon, haha. Anyway, does anyone here have experience scrapping these? Why are they so heavy? Only 2' tall, GE I think, and kinda looks like a dehumidifier (bout that size). I woulda just pitched them into the shred a month ago, but this forum has inspired me to be a lot more selective. Anyhoo, if you know anything about these, I would love some input. will post pics tomorrow. Oh, and for everyone who wants to scold me, I did search "microwave transmitter".
