Scrappin in the Swamp
Marshland along the Missouri River yields some surprises. This from an old farmstead. I couldn't get it all out last winter as it was froze in. I think this place gave me three punctured skidsteer tires (almost ruined one this last time). Much swampgrass hanging on the iron. One more load to go and I'm done.
With the interest in guessing weights, go ahead and put a guess on this load. It's a 20 ft trailer and there's a grain binder on the front.

5500 lbs. Trailer tires don't look like they're really stressed.

Ground was soft (actually had to push myself out with the skidsteer). Tires are 10 ply with 60 Lbs air.

Pjost was off by 40 lbs.......net weight of the iron was 8040 lbs. Good guesses.
