New here from NE Arkansas
Hello everyone! New guy from Arkansas. I am cleaning up some metal items from around my dad and grandad's farm property. I came here for some guidance. My dad was the type to pile metal up around trees and such, and he passed away in February. Now my elderly mother wants the place cleaned up, she says I can have all the money from scrapping the metal. I am trying to restore an old 1940 Farmall B that belonged to my grandad, and I plan to use the money toward this. I have been reading here a while, and I think I could keep recycling even after I've cleaned everything up. Glad to be part of the forum!

Welcome Arky, from Arky.lol. I'm also from Arkansas. Well, I'm not.sure what part of Arkansas you are in, but Yonacks in Lonoke, Arkansas pays the most for aluminum, copper, brass, batteries (also known as CMG or commercial metals group). Tennenbaums in North Little Rock (that pioneered recycling in USA), has shredder and normally pays most for steel, iron, cars. Reeves recycling in North.Little Rock, is at war with the regulations and will take cars without titles, any scrap without questions. They pay a little less though. I would suggest calling yonacks (501-676-6477) before u haul it anywhere though. I live in Jacksonville and sometimes their prices are.so high that its worth it to haul it the extra distance. plus its fast in and out. Best wishes, Arky

well I tried to help u locate good paying scrap yards in your area. However, the people I know in that area have no clue. Maybe you can profit from it. Best wishes, Arky
