Got these a few weeks back . gonna start picking up old tools and listing them on ebay . I have no idea what these are , I thought they were drawer pulls. My old man thinks they are to heavy and are boat tie downs of some sort.

They are called cleats, or tie down points, newer styles are mainly the D ring style. The hideaway style is really nice, keeps many toes from being smashed from a flat bed trailer.
If there is a gripping surface on the underside when they flip out, they are hideaway steps for trailers or other thigns where a standard step would be an annoyance.
They might be inset pocket handles for a trap door on floor level.

I forgot about those.
If your hands fit in them and they only come up 90 degrees I would say they are handles for a heavy box, like a tool box.
I vote tie downs.
Handles for trap doors or hatch doors. They sit flush so you can walk over them easily, Or throw a rug over it to hide it.
