New member from Wyoming
Hi all,
I recently started scrapping computers. I'm located in rural western Wyoming. I've sold metal to a scrapyard but am getting started selling e scrap on ebay (I haven't found any local buyers. If you know of any, let me know!) I'm on ebay with the same user name, scrapping307. I have a day job but was able to get my hands on a bunch of old computers for free, and I thought I'd see if I could make a little money scrapping them. So far, it's been a lot of fun, but I haven't gotten rich.
Thanks for reading,

Welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC.
All the info you seek is here, just takes a little digging to find it. Get acquainted with the search box, buy it a drink, or dinner, or heck even both. It'll be your best friend, or your worse enemy..I wish you luck. Searches are such fickle beasts of nature. ;)
Far as local can't help ya. Our buyers here are quite awesome though. Few near your state if I recall. Shipping isn't to bad, if that's your concern. I understand selling local, but from my experience, local prices don't usually beat our buyers. With some exceptions mind you. In case you were wondering where the buyers were.. Good luck, an enjoy your stay!

Welcome to the forum, you will definitely want to check-out the buyers section with scraping computers. Western Wyoming, Rock Springs was a real party town at one time. Will never forget the drive in liquor store, that was a first. Are you anywhere close to Rock Springs?

Hello from Denver. If you have enough to justify driving to Denver I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Welcome, keep reading and saving up your computer material until you know more. The knowledge you can gain here by following the others advise will pay big dividends in the coming months and years. Mike.

I'm about two hours from Rock Springs, but I've never been there. Most Wyoming towns seem to drink pretty hard, so you're probably right about it. And most liquor stores in the state seem to have a drive through. I've only been here a couple years, but I once saw a cowboy order and get served a beer from horseback. That was neat.

I'll have to try that sometime.
Kzscrapper: I do sometimes get down to Denver. Where would you recommend selling e-scrap down there?
