Hello

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am not a chatty guy, so I will be brief. I have been a part time scrapper for many years but have been without work since I got sick about a year and a half ago so have decided to up my scrapping to try and support myself. I am strictly non-ferrous as I do not have space to keep large material. I am currently looking to expand into electronics as this is something new for me. Expect questions...

I am currently trying to decide if the paid membership is worthwhile. It is reasonably priced so I am inclined to pay for it. Thoughts?

Hi and welcome, you do not have to buy the "membership" right away as there is a college course full of free info on all aspects of scrapping here, broken down into different sections.
All you have to spend is some time reading. Enjoy.

Thanks. I have been reading some of your threads. I am very familiar with computer parts as I used to build them but I am still learning how they are graded for scrap. Thanks for the info, it is great.

Welcome! I have been a member for a while and I haven't got the membership, should, but haven't. There is MORE than enough info here. I also say I don't collect ferrous, but last week I took in $85 worth of something I "don't" collect

Driving to Tampa is not an issue. My son lives in Riverview and we have friends in Ocala. We are frequently in the area. I agree with you that PM is the best way for certain communications, so I will be patient. Thanks for you willingness to share.
