Hello all,
I recently stumbled across this forum and joined, I've been looking for a forum like this for a while.
I've been scrapping on and off since the early 1990's and for the last three years have been doing more and more. I got laid off two years ago and scrapping helped make ends meet. I live in south central Utah and the closest scrap yard to me that I don't feel like I've been robbed is 50 miles away.

50 miles, that's a stretch. I guess you have to make every trip count.
Welcome Haztech....tell us what kind of scrapping you're into. There's all kinds on this forum and many are e-scrappers. I do farm cleanup myself, load my 20ft trailer with a skidsteer; farm machinery, grain bins, tin, wire, etc. I'm not smart enough to do e-scrap....LOL

Yunkman, I've been scrapping mostly e-scrape, and anything else I can get my hands on recently I started collecting ferrus scrap. Last summer I scrapped out a 28' travel trailer, that was interesting project and the largest one I've done to date. The guy had dreams of restoring it, until he discovered the wood framework was all rotten.
