does anyone know how to test. server technology inc smart cabinet distribution unit. I dont have the outlet for this but would like to see if it works to sell. I have six.

You might have a challenge there. That looks like a 3 phase plug but I've never seen one with a center pin like yours has. Are you in North America?

Sirscrapalot - Not so great at identifying plugs and outlets.
Did a little googling....found it was a standard North American 3 phase, 5 wire plug. I can't tell what the voltage would be but it should be noted on the dataplate on the equipment. It will be 120/208, 277/480 or 347/600V.
You'll need to find someone with these plugs in their shop or find a friend that has 3 phase power and who will let you fiddle with jury rigging power to the UPS boxes. Safety first here. These voltages will kill easily. Well, even 120VAC will kill, too...

I am 99% sure the server is running on 3 phase 208 VAC power. That is 3 120VAC lines 120 degrees out of phase with each other.
This is a good white paper on the use of 3 phase power if interested: (can't post links) Google "3-phase power in the data center white paper servertech"
Without 3phase 208 power, which is unlikely in anyone's home, it is common where people need to power motors. You could also look at the individual components in the rack, they may all run on 120vac and you could power them separately.

It would help to see the unit the 440 plug is going into. The other units that have female plugin's are 120v 20amp.
BTW: IF the main electrical panel in the building is wired for 3 phase, don't try to play industrial spark!!!!
It's NOT anything like 220v. 2 line , one neutral and one ground.
Some of the bigger heavy duty power generators have that outlet.
You could probably rent one for short money, and test them that way.
