A Photo of my home brew IDE Dock

It isn't pretty, but it has been my go to tool for years
AND: It was free

I took an external CD drive (IDE - so it has to be an older one)
Took out the guts and mounted it to a piece of plywood.

Voila!
Home made IDE dock
I have been through about 5 store bought IDE & SATA docks in the same amount of time

Now that is just plain spiffy.

Thanks for sharing Spin, always amazes me what our members come up with when they build things at home.
