Hello from Orlando

Hello, my name is Anthony and I think I found a new hobby. Scrapping is new to me and I have been picking up and breaking down items for the past few weeks. I have a lot to learn, and some lessons are painful. Like tonight I discovered that a lot of the wire I have found and cleaned from several TV's and motors are really copper cad aluminum. Doh! :mad:

I've only been to a scrap yard once so far to dump a lot of 'shred' to make room in the garage. Still need to learn a lot more about separating the metals, e-waste, and wires. This forum has been very helpful.

I'm in East Orlando and also need to learn more about the scrap yards around here.

I visit your area once a year to kick it with the mouse. We have several folks from your area or near by. Sure they'll chime in and offer you some advice on the yards down your way. Good people they be. Take your time an study our archives here, there is much knowledge contained here. Just takes a bit of digging an reading to access it.
