New from Pittsburgh, scrapping is part of my life.
I love to scrap,
It's my hobby, I know I could make more when I think about what could be doing on on the side to make extra money but I just love collecting and collecting over time, then all of a sudden cashing in on a big payday.
My father and I share a scrapping truck, its a beat up 1998 ford ranger that has hauled 100X its own value.
I collect everything,
Being in the science/electronics field I usually find access to all types of metals, my mainstays are aluminum and steel. But I also end up with stainless steel, copper and brass to the occasional, titanium and platinum.
I'm looking to learn more about e scrapping as I don't have the slightest clue. And I'd love to pick up some tips and tricks to maximize my scraps potential and track prices so I know when to "cash in"
